MEET KEYNOTE SPEAKERROSS STRIPLING
Ross Stripling is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics, known for his versatility on the mound and dedication to excellence. With years of experience as both a starter and reliever, Ross has earned a reputation as a skilled and reliable leader in the game.
A former Texas A&M baseball player, Ross also served as the union player representative for the Blue Jays during the MLB lockout negotiations in 2022, showcasing his leadership off the field.
Beyond baseball, Ross is passionate about his faith and openly shares how his relationship with God has shaped his personal and professional journey.
We are honored to welcome Ross as our guest speaker, where he will inspire and motivate with his unique experiences in baseball, his commitment to perseverance, and the guiding influence of his faith.
MEET KEYNOTE SPEAKERWOODY WILLIAMS
Woody Williams was born in Houston, Texas, and attended Cy-Fair High School before continuing his baseball career at Alvin Junior College and the University of Houston. His skill and dedication led to being selected in the 1988 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. Over the course of 15 seasons in Major League Baseball, Woody built a successful career, becoming an All-Star in 2003 with the St. Louis Cardinals and concluding his playing career with the Houston Astros in 2007.
Following his time as a professional athlete, Woody transitioned into coaching, starting with Fort Bend Christian Academy. His passion for developing young players took him to coaching roles at San Jacinto Community College and Texas University.
Woody currently serves as the Director of Pitching at his alma mater, the University of Houston, where he continues to influence the next generation of athletes. We are honored to welcome Woody as one of our guest speakers. He will share how his legacy is built on his unwavering commitment to shaping future leaders with integrity, humility, and a strong foundation of faith.
